Having your girl break up with you is a painful ordeal for any young man to experience. Thinking it gets easier if it happens if you are older, is not true. When you are younger, you may handle things differently and feel different, but in the end, it’s all the same. If you are stunned and left thinking girlfriend breaking up with me, why?, then you need the truth as to what caused it. Understand it boils down to you, her, or somebody else.
1. It’s You.
You may have some mannerisms that get on her nerves constantly, and that’s not good. What is it you are doing that rubs her the wrong way? Is it the cause of her wanting to leave? You know the things you do that push her buttons, and you know if its a good chance why she’s splitting. You may find it hilarious or just plain old fun, but she can’t take it.
To stop her from leaving, stop what you are doing. Pick what’s more important. If you know you have a problem or she feels you have a problem, get it checked out, at the least for her. Doing it for her, helps.

She may be having issues that are the source of driving you two further away from one another. There may be a lot of reasons why. The best thing for you to do is to try and keep things as normal as possible. She needs space why she analyzes things. Be cool about it, but don’t act like anything is not wrong, and let her know you know there are some existing problems. Bottom line is that letting her go might be the best solution.
If she decides to return, put things into a healthy situation and move forward. But if she decides not to, then respect her decision. Stay strong and don’t give up, remember girlfriend breaking up with you may only be temporary.
Reason #3. It’s Someone Else
Although it’s painful to hear it and take in, the reason for girlfriend breaking up may be because she’s involved with someone else. At this point, there is not much you can do. You can’t change her mind or heart again. Now the wrong thing you can do is to act out or become violent, it will only make matters worst.
If you keep your composure and have restraint from being emotional, you will be showing her that she is possibly making the wrong move. In all honesty, if she was unfaithful with you, odds are she will be with anyone else as well. So, you’re in a better situation not being with her anyway.
When girlfriend breaking up happens, these three reasons are normally one of the main causes, but it could have stemmed from other situations as well. This is a difficult process to go through, but you will come out on the other side stronger and more self assured.
