Undoubtedly Institute A Authoritative Bond With Your Audience

This is a great set of skills that can give you a quick and powerful connection with any audience. They are based on simple psychology, but will make it appear as though you have powerful psychic skills. These are easy to learn, and you can go out and put them into practice as soon as you finish reading this article.

Any magician knows that sincerity is very important when demonstrating a series of magic tricks. One mistake and you’re cover is blown, and they’ll be watching you with a much closer eye. When folks witness a magic act, especially if they’d paid money, they want to be dazzled and entertained. They don’t want to have to pretend that you are magic. They want to trust you are magic.

A great way to set yourself up as an authority in their minds is through some outwardly humbling clairvoyant mind reading. But through some basic eye accessing cues, you can usually tell what kinds of thoughts they are thinking. When you match up your “lingo” with the kinds of thoughts they are thinking, your credibility, and their delight, will skyrocket.

Here are the common rules. When individuals look up, either up and to the right, or up and to the left, they are in general thinking visually. They are accurately seeing movies in their minds. When folks are looking side to side, they are in general thinking of sounds, either voices, songs, or music. When folks look down, either down and to the right, or down and to the left, they are in general thinking of “feeling” thoughts.

A great way to integrate this into your act is to pick a certain person, and then build up a short exchange with them. As you pay attention to their eyes, and gain an understanding into their thoughts, you can simply match your words to their type of thinking. Clearly put, speak in picture words (look, see, notice, etc.) when they are looking up, and chat in sound words (hear, listen, music, etc.) when they are looking side to side. People hardly ever think in terms of feelings when they are out watching a show. It is more of a visual and auditory experience.

While these guidelines are exceedingly plain, and approximate, they will go a great deal in helping you gain a substantial amount of rapport in a fairly brief amount of time with any audience, or even with a one on one encounter when you are performing street magic. These skills can even be used in a non-magic setting, like on a date or within a relationship, but I’ll leave that up to you.
